The Botswana Chess Federation has informed us that Thuto Mpene aged 8 (of the DLG Young Talent Sponsorship Programme) has qualified for the finals of the 2017 Junior School Individual Chess Championships as he has taken position one in the Country! The event is to be held in Letlhakane this year where DLG will be sponsoring his effort to conquer the finals. Well done Thuto!
